Software Configuration Management
Chad Bauer, who works in Configuration Management Support and Enterprise Tool Integration at Rockwell Collins, will deliver a CS seminar on Wednesday, November 5, at 3:30 PM in 322 ITTC.
Abstract
Chad will discuss the challenge of software configuration management for large projects, describe how Rockwell Collins uses ClearCase and Subversion for SCM, and discuss the reasons why they use both tools.
Chad Bauer graduated with a B.A. in Computer Science from UNI in 2000. He also earned a minor in Earth Science. Chad began working for Rockwell upon graduation. He has been supporting software engineering tools since starting at Rockwell.
