Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Computer Science offers five undergraduate degree programs, as well as two minors and a certificate program.

Three of the undergraduate majors are traditional computer science programs: a B.S. in computer science, a B.A. in computer science, and a B.A. in computer information systems. Two of the majors are new programs that prepare students for careers and graduate study in areas of growing interest: a B.S. in Bioinformatics and an B.S. in Networking and System Administration.

For students interested in strengthening another major with study of computing, the department offers three auxiliary programs: a minor in Computer Science, a minor in Computer Information Systems, and a certificate in Computer Applications.
