Your homework assignment is to complete one of the programming problems listed at:

FOR THIS HOMEWORK, YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE FROM PROBLEMS 2, 4, 5, 8, AND 9.

We will/did do Problem 1 in class, and we will do Problems 3 and 6 in class also.

FOR THE REMAINING LABS (4/22 and 4/29) you will need to complete ONE additional problem from

2, 4, 5, 8, AND 9.

The only additional restriction is that you must solve Problem 9 for either the last homework or last lab.

For both the homework and lab your program should read from a file, called Prob#.in and write its output to a file, called Prob#.out. (which the # being replaced by the problem number you solved)

• Prob#.py (The first line of your Python program should contain a comment specifying which problem number you solved)
• design.doc (or design.txt, or design.rtf) a document describing the design of your program
