Hi 021 students, The textbook CD-ROM Labs you need to do are the one on BINARY numbers and the one on WEB AUTHORING AND HTML. You only need to do the STEPS portion of them. ----- You do NOT need to look at the textbook to do these labs, but the page numbers that refer to the CD-ROM Labs are shown below. ---------------- Page 384 of the textbook, do #1, the Steps for Lab Web Pages & HTML. ---------------- -------------- Page 480 of the textbook, do #1, the Steps for the Lab Binary Numbers. -------------- **** Due date: Monday 01/28 or anytime that week **** They are will be collected on Monday, January 28th, but you can turn them in anytime during the week of 01/28 until Friday 02/01, since this next Monday is only our 2nd class meeting. My office is Wright Hall 106. If you turn your assignment in at a time when I am not there, slide it UNDER the door. You will turn in the printouts of the Steps questions and answers. If you have trouble printing the results, you can write down the questions and your answer to each question and turn that in instead of the computer generated printout. The Labs menu for your textbook CD-ROM has the two different choices you need to make to do the assignment, so its Labs menu, Binary Numbers command to start the binary lab, and its Labs menu, Web Authoring & HTML command to start the HTML lab. If you are working in the Wright Hall labs, WRT 112 or WRT 110 or WRT 339, the following sequence of 4 commands gets you to the textbook's CD-ROM software: Start menu button, Programs, New Perspectives, Textbook If you are working in the Wright labs, be aware that there are printers on 1st floor in WRT 112 and printers on 3rd floor in the WRT 339 lab. The printers are named WRT112 and WRT339, if I recall correctly. Mark
