Hi 021 students, ----------------------- See pages 41 and 42 of your textbook. Lab: User Interfaces Page 41 Lab: DOS User Interface Pages 41-42 Lab: User Interfaces Page 41 Do #1, the STEPS portion, and print out your QuickCheck Report that summarizes your performance. Do #4, write a description of each of the interfaces you learned in the STEPS lab tutorial and be sure to use the terminology you learned in the lab. Then discuss which interface you would use for the new software your company is creating that will be marketed as line, bar, column and pie graph software package. This is part of EXPLORE. Do NOT do #2 or #3. They are not assigned, so you do not have to do them to turn in. Lab: DOS User Interface Pages 41-42 Do #1, the STEPS and turn in the printout of your QuickCheck Report or your hand-written questions and answers, if you have printer problems. Do #2, 2.a. and 2.b. and 2.c. and 2.d. This is part of EXPLORE. Do NOT do #3, or rather you do not have to do #3 to turn in. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Reminder: We have a hands-on class next Monday, in the WRIGHT 112 computer lab. The lab has 28 DELL computers. The WRT 339 lab only had 21 computers, so we should be less crowded. We will do some Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software and do some PhotoShop or Paint and then put the graphic we created on your practice web page. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Have you looked at http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/c021.html in the last day or two? ------------------------------------------ On Friday, I will hopefully finally hand out your web page assignment and the associated support material and directions. We will also work on a 10 minute group exercise at some point during the class. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark
