     Glance over Lesson One (Chapter One) of the Reed Jacobson textbook
        enough to become familiar with what a macro is and what recording
        a macro involves.

     Look over the VBA Macros - variations on 23 birthdays problem
        if you get a chance.  The PowerPoint published slide show
        seems to still require Microsoft Internet Explorer as your
        web browser.  It does NOT work for Mozilla Firefox.

        Do not expect to understand the VBA Macros yet.  Your goal
        should be just to see what is there in the 23 birthday example.
        Do NOT be intimidated by it.  You will understand it by late
        September or early October!

        There will be a great deal of overlap between the Flash skills
        and the Excel VBA skills that you will benefit from before
        the class is over.  You could say that Flash ActionScript
        is Flash's Macro language and learning VBA will make you
        much better as using and making Flash applications and
        animations that involve knowing ActionScript.
