I EXPLORE START MENU, RUN command - ------- type iexplore in the Run dialog box, to start up Internet Explorer. -------- - ------- if you can't find it in Start menu choices. 022 students, I am getting a few pages (URLs) that have error in the JavaScript. Using Microsoft Internet Explorer: Tools menu, Internet Options command, Advanced Tab... Make sure Display a notification about every script error is CHECKED. Make sure Disable script debugging is NOT CHECKED. You will then be able to get an error message with the exact line number of your error. Guess what I just discovered. The WRIGHT 112 LAB computers, and presumably, all of the lab computers, do NOT have all these features installed for Microsoft Internet Explorer. I can tell you the line number, if you have to work and test your code in WRT lab, otherwise, the above instructions work for how to find out the line number and error message for your home PC or possibly at other labs around campus. If you send me the URL, I can tell you the line number of your error, if you have one. ALSO, this is VERY IMPORTANT. I have had two students now whose JavaScript pages work fine with Microsoft Internet Explorer and they do NOT WORK AT ALL with the wonderful piece of software named Mozilla in our lab. I am sure you would be okay with Netscape, but I have very little confidence is Mozilla at this point. And someone has been removing Internet Explorer from some of the computers in the Wright Hall labs, so you may have to login to a different machine, if it is not on the machine you are logged into and you want to work and want to look at other students practice quizzes and actually get your graded results back.
