Hi VB students, The class web page at: http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/c030.html easily linked to from: http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/ .cns. is for College of Natural Sciences --- - - - has old tests and quizzes for your practice and review. The link has been there for 8 or 9 days already, but I imagine you will get the most use out of it now that the test is two days away! :-) http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/c030Questions.html The exam is on this Wednesday, 11/09/2005. When you see questions about DragDrop events or Databases or Ghostbusters and problem solving, you can safely ignore those things that we have not yet covered in the class. Most likely, we will cover those topics and skills after this exam, and they will be good for you to know for the final exam. Loops (For Next and Do While), IF THEN ELSE statements, random numbers, Timers, control arrays, String functions, menu techniques and concepts and statements, Image controls, twips versus pixels, the use of PSet to draw on the Form object, 2nd Forms in a program, the four phases of problem solving and programming process, message boxes and input boxes, remainder operations and integer division, vertical and horizontal scroll bars, check boxes, Properties, Methods and Events, binary, KeyAscii and Keypress, etc., etc., etc. .... These are some of the main topics that come to mind that have been covered in the class. You will notice as of last Friday that the Monte Carlo assignment is not due until Monday November 14th. It is NOT due this Friday. http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/030/MonteAssignment.html http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/c030.html Mark
