LAB 5 DUE AT 5 (not by start of class Friday) -------------- Hi 061 students, The program for Boxball is due at 5 p.m. on Friday, so if you do not have it ready and all finished up and printed by classtime, you still have all day Friday to finish it up. Daniel works from 9-12 and from 1-2 on Friday in Wright 339 lab, so that gives you a chance to ask the graduate student TA for help yet too. I finish teaching at 3 p.m. too. That also gives me a chance to talk about the web page examples or any specific tough problems many students are having on the very last part of the assignment. Study the class web page examples carefully, especially for the onBallHittingBottom() Part 4: Checking the box task, which onRaindropLanding() is meant to help with. ------------------- http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/061 The exam in on Wednesday, October 16th, one week from today. Monday will be spent reviewing chapters 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Williams College textbook, and the major concepts and examples we have covered. I will try to have some practice test questions for you to look at ready before this weekend too, so you know what to expect on some parts of the test and can get some practice. The next assignment (Lab #6) will not be assigned until AFTER the midterm exam. It will be another assignment based on chapter 5 of the Williams textbook, and will also be a game you can play. It will not be due until 9 days after you receive it. Mark http://www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/061/
