Hello Discrete students,

      The bookstore has ten copies of the textbook sitting on the shelf
there this morning, so they got in early.

      They have 5 new
            and 5 used copies.

      Now everyone can read over Section 1.1 First Examples
                             and Section 1.3 Truth-tellers, Liars, and
                                             Propositional Logic.

     Do the Draw This, the Josephus Game, the Truth Tables and the 
Logically Equivalent Propositions Flash applications as you study 1.1 and 
1.3 sections.

      Try the Magic Trick on pages 2 and 3 too.  It involves cards, i.e.
one club, one spade, one heart and one diamond.
