Subject: PERL exam on Monday...

Hi 088 students,

    We will have a PERL CGI exam on Monday.  You do not have to know
any JavaScript for this test, just know your PERL and your HTML basics.
I may include some questions on chmod or on Unix basics, but probably
it will be mostly PERL, and of course the HTML basics needed to do
certain things with a PERL script on the web, or to invoke a PERL
script when you click a SUBMIT button, or to get the data using
the param() function, etc.

    Feel free to send me questions over the weekend if you are having
trouble with any concepts or the study guide for the test.  I will get
back to you before Monday with answers to everyone in the class and to
the web page with the .txt version of the email note too.

    I will be out of town most of the afternoon and evening on
Saturday, but will be back on Sunday.
