Hi 021 students,

     There is a summary of today's class (you will need the handout
from today's class) available at the web site.  It is partially a
review of today (Monday) and a preview of Wednesday's class, where
we will continue.

     I also have added the reading assignment, and put up a link to
some supplementary information on the four generations of computers,
i.e. the vacuum tubes, transistors, integrated circuits and 
microprocessors.

     After the 2nd generation, the story can pretty much be summed up
as:  "Honey, I shrunk the transistors".
