I will teach you two ways on Friday in our hands-on class: ------------------ 1. Using the ssh secure shell that you can download for free from the UNI web site and use at home, if you have a PC that is running any version of Windows, including XP or Vista. Note: Mac users can download CyberDuck for free from the UNI web site and use that at home. The KAB lab and I assume other places on campus that have Macintosh computers all have the CyberDuck software. My web page has instructions on CyberDuck and on ssh secure shell, where to get them and how to use them. Note: ssh secure shell is available in Lang 213 and in StudioIT 3 and in all Wright Hall and CNS labs, including the top floor CS department small lab near our classroom, ITT 335. 2. Using Dreamweaver to upload your .html and .swf files that were published from your Flash .fla authoring document. I have extensive documentation on how to do this available on the web page. The assignment is not due until 10 p.m. on Friday evening, so if you have it all working in Flash, it should be a cinch to get it uploaded during or right after class and know how to do it for the future. If you are working in the SCC labs where they do NOT have ssh secure shell, unless you have experience with FileZilla and PuTTy and ftp Lite packages, the easiest way to upload your assignment would be to use DREAMWEAVER. SSH SECURE SHELL is the easiest and fastest way to do it if you are in Wright, or ITT 335 or Lang 213 or the StudioIT labs. You are welcome to try to use FileZilla (and PuTtY) or FTP Lite, but they are not easy to use and even if you know how to use them, they seem to give errors even when you did everything right.
