Student Hello Sam, I am having trouble preparing all the details of how to do the last sentence of both 13.1 (bedrooms and home cost) and 13.2 (beer and blood alcohol). 13.1 Remove the last sentence from what is due tomorrow. You only need to do the scatterplot and the fitted regression line. Skip the last sentence! "On the same graph, test the hypothesis that an extra bedroom costs $60,000 against the alternative that it costs more." THIS LAST SENTENCE is NOT DUE tomorrow. SKIP IT! 13.2 Same as 13.1 above here. SKIP THE LAST SENTENCE for now. "Test the hypothesis that another beer raise your BAL by 0.02 percent against the alternative that it is less." SKIP the above sentence, the last sentence. Just do the scatterplot and fit the regression line. We will get to those R techniques in class tomorrow or next week and give you some theory, practice and more R background first! Mark
