Mark <------- VIP: Remember to SIGN YOUR FIRST NAME at the end of every email note! :-) P.S. Someone asked about Adobe After Effects CS4 or CS3. If I were a student in my class this semester and already had Adobe CS3 or Adobe CS4 After Effects, I would NOT buy Adobe CS5. Creative Suite 3 and Creative Suite 4 are similar enough and costly enough so that you do NOT have to have the latest version. Questions like this one are so useful DURING CLASS, instead of waiting until right after class to ask the teacher, so I encourage you to raise your hand and ask during class, cause the issue or concept if too often of use to everyone or many students! Sorry I forgot to talk about it for the students who already own or have access to CS 3 or CS 4 older versions of After Effects! Of course, you can still get and install the newest version of AE (CS5 = AE Creative Suite 5) for FREE and use it for 30 days later this semester too! :-) ---- Due on Friday (Paper and Pencil or Paper and Pen exercise) http://www.cs.uni.edu/~jacobson/23/AE/DigitalCompositing.html Mark <------- VIP: Remember to SIGN YOUR FIRST NAME at end of every email note! :-) Mark <------- VIP: Remember to SIGN YOUR FIRST NAME at end of every email note! :-) Mark <------- VIP: Remember to SIGN YOUR FIRST NAME at end of every email note! :-) Mark <------- VIP: Remember to SIGN YOUR FIRST NAME at end of every email note! :-) P.S.2. If you have a laptop with Adobe CS5 on it and bring it to school anyway, you are welcome to use it in class when we have all 25 students there in class. I will get a student to volunteer to sit at the teaching station while I teach by just walking around and teaching the class as usual, except that student at the teaching station will do what I would be doing. Example: Layer menu, New, Solid is the command. The 25th student who volunteered to be at the teaching station would only need to move SLOWLY, and usually be the last student to CLICK OK, so everyone in the class can see the dialogue box that I am talking about. That way, all 25 students can JUST DO IT, in honor of Nike and get the hands-on experience part that day. Provided we have 100% of the 25 computers in Lang 213 working, which is the case 99.375 percent of the time.
