Hi 022 students,

    The first assignment in 810:022 class will have you doing FOUR things:

       1.  creating several web pages using Dreamweaver, and

       2.  creating some graphics to include on those web pages or
           to link to from those web pages using Photoshop, and

       3.  doing some screen captures using Alt + PrintScreen or
           Shift + PrintScreen on a PC (or the Macintosh technique
           I will show you how to do) and then pasting that into
           Photoshop and CROPPING it in Photoshop and enhancing it
           with some comments or graphics, and

       4.  getting used to the process of publishing them to the
           sunny.uni.edu web server on your UNI sunny account.

       Not to state the obvious, but the assignment is NOT assigned a due
         date yet because it is NOT assigned yet.

       Can you start working on the assignment now if you wish?
       Certainly.

       When the assignment specification is completed, that will be
announced by email and in class.  You will have at least ONE FULL WEEK
from the day I announce in class that the assignment is NOW READY.

       When you finish the assignment, you will simply email me the
URL of your assignment page.  From that one web page, I will be able to
link to all of your .jpg and .gif and .html pages and grade your first
project.

                 One      has ONE upper CaSe letter

                 I can deal with checking both .htm and .html for the
                     Dreamweaver attached suffix
                     to the filename
                                     assignOneDW022.htm     or
                                     assignOneDW022.html

    1.  If the assignment is ready by Wednesday before class,    AND

    2.  if I cover enough of the Photoshop and screen capturing that is
           required to do the project, then and ONLY THEN

           would you be told at the END OF CLASS that it was due
                                         in 7 or 9 days later.
