From jacobson@math-cs.cns.uni.edu Wed Feb 9 17:35:27 2005 Date: Wed, 09 Feb 2005 11:34:54 -0600 (CST) From: Mark Jacobson To: 810-151-80@uni.edu Subject: [810-151-80] Exam on Friday, Feb 11th: Program due following Wednesday... Hi Visual Basic .NET students, Exam on Friday, Feb 11th: Program due following Wednesday... The last day for our class in on Friday. If you missed class today, you will need to get the handouts. I will scotch tape them to my office door in case I'm not here when you stop to pick them up. Please let me know about when you might stop today (Wednesday) or tommorrow (Thursday) so I can be sure there are some on my door ahead of time. The handouts today included: 1. exams and quizzes from last fall's VB .NET class, but that was 810:030, a class that has NO prerequisites for non-CS majors, 2. the first programming assignment from last spring semester's VB .NET 810:151 class, which was the first time I ever taught VB .NET instead of VB 6.0 (or 5.0 or 4.0). Cryptography and for loops and strings. 3. the handout on graphics, which you can have during the 2nd portion of friday's test, along with a "cheat sheet", to answer the graphics questions. Be sure to let me know if you need the handouts from today and about what time and day you will stop to pick them up from me or off of my office door. The C/C++ class begins on Monday, February 14th at 9 MWF for 5 weeks. Mark
