On Wednesday, in class, we will finish covering enough of Visual Basic so that you can take it out for a test run. The first assignment will be due the following week on Friday, September 9th. It will require you to use: Textboxes, Labels, and Command Buttons. On Wednesday, we will finish up the Timer object, and look at the View Menu, Immediate command as a wonderful feature of VB for doing experiments. On Friday, we will go to the computer lab in Wright 112, across the hallway from our classroom (which is Wright 105). The hands-on class will do VBA in the Microsoft Excel application. VBA - Visual Basic for Applications, which is a subset of Visual Basic features, as needed for recording and running Macros. See you on Wednesday! Mark P.S. (I'll try to remember to tell the bike story then)...
