Subject: No class and no test on Friday...

Hi 021 students,

    We will NOT have the midterm exam on Friday.  I think we are going
to have a take-home exam instead, and I will hand that out sometime next
week.

    We will NOT have class on Friday either.  I have to go to a major
computer science research presentation here at UNI that is at 3 p.m.
on Friday.  I was going to get a proctor for the in-class exam, but
decided it would be better to have a take-home exam as the last test
before the final exam and to just cancel class on Friday.

    Read chapter 10 (Whats the Plan?  Algorithmic Thinking),
         chapter 11 (Light, Sound, Magic - Representing Multimedia Digitally),
         chapter 19 (The Bean Counter - A JavaScript Program)
