Be sure to ask them about it. I will talk about this during our Friday class in Studio 3 classroom (same building, 2nd floor, ITT 134 is Studio III). $125 sounds quite reasonable, in that many classes require a textbook which costs that much or more. And you usually don't use your textbook for the next few years either, like you might use Flash CS3. I have decided that the textbook for our Flash class will be either of the textbooks that I showed you on the handout the very first day of class. Flash CS3 - The Missing Manual by E.A. Vander Veer and Chris Grover $34.99 ( $23.99 at www.amazon.com ) or ------ Foundation Flash CS3 for Designers by Tom Green and David Stiller $39.99 ( $26.39 at www.amazon.com ) ------ Just purchase one or the other of these books, as they are both very good, so either one of them will do. All of my assignments and quizzes and tests will have enough resource material from the web page and from handouts and lab sessions and lectures that you can just use your textbook as a supplement. The resources I provide directly will be what the test/quiz questions and the projects are based upon. If there is anything especially useful from one of the textbooks that I concentrate on, I will photocopy it for the students who have the other textbook. Please check out today's example Flash application and review the class2.html page resources before Friday. http://cns2.uni.edu/~jacobson/flash/ or www.cns.uni.edu/~jacobson/flash is easier to remember. Again, on Friday we are on the 2nd floor instead of the 4th floor of the ITT building. ITT 328 on Mondays and Wednesdays. ITT 138 on Fridays. (also known as Studio III). Studio IT 138 - Studio IT 3 is on 2nd floor. It is a laptop PC classroom and the laptops in ITT 138 have Flash CS3. http://cns2.uni.edu/~jacobson/flash/class2.html http://cns2.uni.edu/~jacobson/flash/class1.txt http://cns2.uni.edu/~jacobson/flash/ Mark On Wed, 16 Jan 2008 spunky99@uni.edu wrote: > I went to the book store and got some pricing done.
