You have a handout from the Wednesday January 23rd class that shows what is required. You can also look at this URL to see an example of what the assignment might look like: http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/AssignOneExample.html 2. Another example of what it might look like if you wanted to include some extra features like buttons and/or rotation of the ball animation (the ball animation, NOT a rectangle animation). http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/AssignOneExVariations.html Extra features are NOT required. 3. In the Friday, January 25th hands-on class we did a RECTANGLE animation. That hands-on class was designed to help you do your outside of class time BALL animation with its 5 keyframes. --------------------- That Friday 01/25 laptop lab hands-on class will not be graded, and it is not the assignment. It helped you prepare to do the assignment as specified so that you come up with something like this with its 5 KeyFrames and the growning and shrinking and changing location ball that probably got you really comfortable using the ALIGN Panel (align to upper left, align to bottom right, align to CENTER of the Stage). http://www.uni.edu/jacobson/AssignOneExample.html and http://www.cs.uni.edu/~jacobson/flash/a/a1.html show examples of what the assignment one could look like. On Monday, I will show you how easy it is to download the ssh secure shell software. You can have till Tuesday morning to finish up your ASSIGNMENT ONE and email me the URL or show it to me and have me help you upload it to your sunny.uni.edu account and website. Sorry about any confusion. The Friday lab classes are NOT THE GRADED HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS! --- Please ask questions during class or before class or by email if you have them. The confusion of at least two of the students about the first assignment could have been easily avoided. :-) Please be familiar with the entire web page and study it over, if you are behind on your reading and notetaking for the web page examples and content. The web page and handouts are your reading/study assignments! Have a soup or sundae this weekend. I am planning on having both. Have your soup or sundae in a bowl too. Mark
