TUESDAY 01/26 Chick: What the CHICK assignment might look like after we duplicate special it, animate it and publish it on your web page. Requires After Effects and Flash and early February classes to learn Rendering the Maya, importing to After Effects, rendering to Flash Video and publishing a Flash video application. We will NOT do this until week #4 or #5.

01/26/2016 - Review of today's class: NURBS circle emitting particles - Dynamics menu set in 2013 Maya is named FX menu set in Maya 2016.

What if Sun, Earth and Moon were cube shaped?
See orbiting and rotating CUBES example.

Rocket Exhaust - Maya Dynamics particle emitters and color ramps. We will try to do Rocket Exhaust in Thursday's class, if we have time.

How were the 16 different pottery pieces or flower vases created? Using CV Curve tool to make a Profile Curve and Surfaces menu REVOLVE to revolve the curve around the Y axis. After that DUPLICATE SPECIAL. We did this in class on Valentines Day eve eve eve (Monday).
