Hi 088 Maya students, Read pages 109 to 127 to review what we did in class today. Planning Your Model Polygon Basics Poly Editing Tools Especially the Wedge Face Tool and the Poke Face Tool and the Poly Extrusion Tools Putting the Tools to Use: Making a Simple Hand Extrude 3 times for each finger. Wedge Face to create the thumb base - 65 degrees, 5 sections. Extrude 2 times to create the thumb. Split Polygon tool to create the extra faces for the knuckles. Poke Face to create each of the knuckles. Smooth operation to smooth out the hand and round all of the corners and sharp knuckles. H O C Selecting Edges and Selecting Faces. Polygon Cube that was 4 divisions wide, 1 division tall, and 3 divisions deep was the palm of the hand that we began with.
