1. Read chapters 1, 2 and 3 of Maximum Security.

2. Read, reread, take notes and carefully study chapter 6 - A Brief TCP/IP Primer as you review Monday's and Tuesday's classes and handouts.

3. Skim over chapter 15 to see what a sniffer is as you recall your ethereal experience. Especially Local Area Networks and Data Traffic on page 282. Packet Transport and Delivery on page 282.

4. Assignment #1 available soon (before Thursday's class, which is class #4 of 20). Assignment 1 will be due on Monday, July 14th.
