Defining Functions in Scratch using Build Your Own Blocks
Due to a variety of circumstances I needed to cancel the formal class today. Fortunately, the material that I was going to cover is something I cover in my summer online class for in-service teachers. Thus, you should be able to learn this material on your own using the following video links.
You should work through the following videos. Together they total about 35 minutes of viewing time but there are two points in the lessons where I ask you to stop and try something yourself. I suggest you honestly stop the videos and attempt to complete the tasks on your own and then use the debrief videos to check your work. This total process should only be about one hour of work so it's a good equivalent of a day in my classroom.
