Week 1
Introduction to Scratch Animations
Weekly Summary
For the first unit we will be studying the block based programming language called Scratch.
This week you will watch a series of videos that I produced to use with an online class I teach to in-service teachers around the world. This will teach you the very basics of getting started with Scratch.
NOTE: Because these videos are being re-purposed from another class you may hear some references to "halfway through Unit 1" and "in the next video" which all made sense in the context of the class I am stealing these videos from. Don't panic if it seems off.
Key Concepts
This week you will learn about two (well, three) key concepts of computer science.
