Spring 2009, In-Lab Exam #1

NOTE:  This exam is a closed book, closed class-notes, closed internet, closed “previous code” exam. The ONLY source you are allowed to reference during the exam is the documentation provided inside of JES itself. Any students found using unauthorized sources will receive an automatic 0 for this exam.

Initial Instructions - When told to do so, please conduct the following steps:

• Download the following images into your directory on the P: drive
  • girls.jpg
  • mascot.jpg
• Launch JES
• Invoke setMediaPath() and point to your directory on the P: drive
• Save your code space as a file named exam1.py
• Create an instance of one of the photos you downloaded and invoke show() with this photo
• Close this website.

A copy of ONLY JES and an open photo on your desktop will be your signal to me that you are ready to move on.
