1.  When I ran the native OS X spellchecker on my
<A HREF="http://www.cs.uni.edu/~wallingf/blog/archives/monthly/2007-01.html#e2007-01-10T18_55_25.htm">
   last entry</A>,
it balked at "Spolsky", and suggested "Splotchy" instead.
I don't know why I feel compelled to say so, but there.
At least that's funnier than
<A HREF="http://www.cs.uni.edu/~wallingf/blog/archives/monthly/2004-11.html#e2004-11-20T13_33_58.htm">
   replacing Wozniak with wooziness</A>.

2.  You may notice that the links in the preceding paragraph
are broken right now, and that all of my permalinks have been
for a week or so, I guess.  By broken, I mean that it doesn't
take you to the 11/20/04 entry titled "Strange Blogging Occurrences"
as it should.  (At least it takes you to November 2004!)  Our
college web server underwent some migration and reconfiguration
recently, and redirection of URLs seems to be a problem yet.
I hope that the problem is fixed soon.  In the meantime, my
apologies for any inconvenience as you read.
