Undergraduate Majors (B.S.)

Computer Science

The B.S. Computer Science major requires a minimum of 126 total hours to graduate. This total includes Liberal Arts Core requirements and the following specified major requirements, plus electives to complete the minimum of 126 hours. The B.S. in Computer Science provides broader and deeper coverage. It gives students the sturdiest foundation for a long career in computing and also for graduate study in CS.

Networking and System Administration

The B.S. Networking and System Administration major requires a minimum of 126 total hours to graduate. This total includes Liberal Arts Core requirements and the following specified major requirements, plus electives to complete the minimum of 126 hours. The Networking and System Administration (NaSA) major is a timely program aimed at preparing graduates for careers and research opportunities in all fields related to reliable and distributed network computing.


Undergraduate Major (B.A.)

Computer Science

The B.A. Computer Science major requires a minimum of 120 total hours to graduate. This total includes Liberal Arts Core requirements and the following specified major requirements, plus electives to complete the minimum of 120 hours. The B.A. in Computer Science is a shorter program of study, making it more suitable for a liberal arts-style education. Students still study deeply in one area of CS but have more time for a minor or second major.
