     They are often not very busy at all in the evenings.

     It is very helpful when you are having trouble to:

        1. show Mike or Minal your specific problem that you do not
           understand, and...

        2. have your textbook and relevant handouts available, and...

        3. have the lecture notes that are relevant available, ...

        4. and be able to show them the web site and any related
           material I have posted there.

        Mike and Minal are graduate students in Computer Science, but
keep in mind they may not have seen the discrete specific math you
are needing help with in a few years or ever.  They do have the
educational background to be able to help you with almost anything,
provided you have the book/lecture notes/relevant handout examples
available.
