Assignment
DUE
anytime on
or before TUESDAY,
APRIL 9th.
-
ASSIGNMENT DUE FRIDAY: Gravity
(no heavy lifting)
and trigonometry with AE (Adobe After Effects = AE) Expressions.
Due date: Friday, April 12th
anytime.
Required: Watch the first 11 minutes of video the tutorial
to answer the 14 questions Q01 to Q14.
You can turn in a hand-written pen/pencil assignment with the answers
to the 14 questions. Or scan it in if you want to send an attachment.
Or print out word processed answers and draw in your diagrams. Or send
your answers in email as text of message and ATTACH a Photoshop or JPG
or Paint graphic of your required drawings/diagrams/pictures. Too many
options to list here.

- ASSIGNMENT DUE FRIDAY: Gravity
(no HeAvY lifting)
and trig with AE Expressions.
Due date: Friday, April 12th
anytime.
- Creative Cow video tutorial:
Gravity
and Adobe After Effects. Watch
the video. We
covered
about 9 of the required 11 minutes during class today.
- Sine, Cosine, Tangent, Absolute Value, Exponential Growth,
Exponential
Decay, SOH, CAH, TOA and
Pythagoras.
Friday, April 12th
Gravity After Effects 14 questions on video tutorial are due.
Pen/Pencil is okay.
Hand in a hard copy in class or under my office
door on
Friday (or turn in hard copy on Monday
if you emailed an attachment earlier).
Dan Ebberts AE Expressions.
Motion is mathematical. Some after effects of being exposed to Adobe
After
Effects Expressions are improved quantitative ability, greater
appreciation of mathematics, more enjoyment of trigonometry,
and less anxiety about problems involving numbers and equations.

-
Sine
and Cosine - ramping up, life has its ups and downs, its a good
sine, sine's fraternal twin - cosine, modulation, frequency.
- Exponential
Curves - Math.exp() and time in a bottle, its hammer time, its minus
time. Exponential Growth, Exponential Decay, e yikes (2.718 is not so
famous or tasty as 3.14159), double trouble caused by combining
Math.sin()
and Math.exp()
and watching a sine wave decay, hey, hey, hey.
- Practical
Examples - Jack in the Box, Pendulums,
Squash and Stretch, Jiggle like Jello, Bouncing Ball, Momentum Balls,
Equations that delight movie audiences with visually appealing
simulations and effects...
- More
Complex
Example (undulating grid) - three-dimensional sine wave!
